Jigsaw Puzzles

Jigsaw puzzles are pictures that have been cut into many small, interlocking pieces. The goal is to put all the pieces back together to recreate the original image. Puzzles can have just a few large pieces for young children or thousands of tiny pieces for adults. They can show all sorts of pictures, from simple cartoons to complex landscapes or famous artwork.

How?

Start by looking at all the pieces and turning them upside up. Find the edge pieces and put them together to make the frame of the puzzle. Then, sort the remaining pieces by colour or pattern. Look closely at the shape of each piece and the parts of the picture on it. Try fitting pieces together, starting with obvious sections like a bright colour or distinct object in the image. Keep working until all the pieces are in place.
