Collaborative Thinking – Work together to build a large pyramid with limited resources. The Pyramid Building Activity Card challenges teams to design and construct a large pyramid using limited resources such as paper, sticks, or other basic materials. This activity fosters creativity, teamwork, and strategic planning, as teams must collaborate to create a structure that is both tall and stable. It encourages participants to think critically about design, structure, and resource allocation, making it an excellent team-building exercise for promoting problem-solving and group coordination.
How?
Teams are given a set of materials with which to construct their pyramid. They must collaborate closely to plan and design the most efficient use of the resources to create a stable and tall structure. This challenge encourages members to share ideas, assign roles based on strengths, and adjust their strategies as they encounter obstacles. The pyramid must be built within a specific time frame, and teams are judged based on the height, stability, and creativity of their structure. This exercise requires effective communication, time management, and leadership to be successful.
