The Innovation Build-Off is a creative competition where teams design and construct unique projects. This event encourages collaboration and inventive thinking among participants. How? Teams are given materials and a limited time to build their projects. Participants must think critically and work together to create something innovative and functional.  

“A thrilling team challenge where participants work together to predict real-time horse race outcomes. Each team is provided with a set of predictions and must make their choices quickly, as speed improves their chances. However, accuracy is key, since horse races are full of unpredictable twists. Teams must skillfully weigh the risks and rewards of making early versus late predictions to maximize their score. After four rounds of intense racing action, the team with the highest points is crowned the victorious Derby Queen’s champions.” How? This activity is guided by an instructor who begins by explaining the rules and introducing the prediction platform. Participants are divided into teams of 5-8 members, each gaining access to the platform. Within their teams, participants assess the provided predictions and make their selections for the upcoming races. While quick decision-making can improve a team’s chances, accuracy is crucial. Teams must skillfully balance the risks and rewards of making early or late predictions. Points are awarded based on the accuracy of predictions and the performance of chosen horses in each race. After four thrilling rounds of competition, the team with the highest score is crowned the Derby Queen champions. The activity concludes with a debrief session, where participants reflect on their experiences and insights.” Why?
